Exciting progress on our partnership with SEED Madagascar as we prepare for the upcoming Secondary School build in Mahatalaky! While we’re still awaiting a date for the traditional ground-breaking ceremony—a vital ritual honoring the ancestors—the groundwork has already begun.
SEED Madagascar’s dedicated team is onsite, gathering raw materials and crafting the sand-cement breeze blocks that will form the backbone of the new classrooms and latrines. These blocks are being carefully moulded and set to dry, with a goal of producing 3,000-4,000 by hand. This early start ensures everything will be ready to go once the ceremony takes place.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to making this school a reality!
