Prestigious Certification Verifies Teneo’s Commitment to Security & Compliance
Teneo, the Work From Anywhere IT Services company, has today announced that it has earned its ISO 27001 re-certification, following an independent audit by QEC, a UKAS accredited certification body. The prestigious certification is the international gold standard for information security and demonstrates Teneo’s adherence to the most stringent security practices.
ISO 27001 provides a framework for an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS). It sets out the policies and procedures needed to protect organizations and includes all the risk controls (legal, physical and technical) necessary for robust IT security management.
James Hall, Teneo’s Operations Director, said: “With 2021 marking the fifth consecutive year of security attacks hitting record-breaking highs, the protection of customer data and the security and reliability of online systems continues to be of utmost importance.
“This re-certification is testament to the extensive work that Teneo routinely carries out to ensure adherence to rigorous security practices. This will ensure our global customers can continue to enjoy peace of mind, safe in the knowledge that their data is protected at the highest level.”
ISO 27001 is just the latest certification awarded to Teneo. The company also holds the ISO9001 certification, awarded by IMSM. ISO9001 is the ultimate global benchmark for quality management, based on internationally recognized quality management principles.
